The food here was very good, and he service provided made us feel very comfortable. We sat out the front during the summer and it was a perfect day for it. Food and milkshakes were perfect for the cute cafe that it is. Will have to go again View all feedback.

I am going to try and keep this review positive despite having a practically inedible meal served to me. We absolutely adore 'The Local'! The service is so friendly, the coffee and chai lattes are excellent, and the variety of food options is fantastic. Even though we're not from Ballarat, whenever we're in town, this is our go-to spot!
I finally had the chance to try this hidden gem and it did not disappoint! The coffee, a delicious double shot latte, was just what I needed. My friend and I enjoyed the big breakfast, which was flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend it! We will definitely be returning to try the French toast. The customer service was excellent.
