Freight Bar and Restaurant

Horrible experience. I ordered a chicken parma (cant **** up a parma after all). After getting half way through it, I find that it’s raw. Worst case scenario for someone with an intestinal condition. We then let a staff member know, and we can only assume the staff member blew it up to management, because my wife and I were then accosted by the young (and clearly inexperienced) manager, threatened with security, and asked to leave. Management needs some serious training, particularly in how to deescalate a situation rather than escalate it, and the “chefs” need to reevaluate their careers of choice. A terrible shame. Word spreads quickly in Ballarat! I have since made contact with the local city council and with any luck inspectors will be there to prevent this from happening again!

Looks a bit disorganized, tables are bare, and can't distinguish the staff from customs.but still provided good food at a reasonable price.

Really good food that was quickly served. Calamari and steak were well cooked. Can get a bit rowdy with large crowd but can't knock the food and drinks. Would come back again for dure

What a fantastic restaurant! Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, great food, VEGAN options, well rounded menu that will suit everyone. From Parma’s, steaks, great kids meals, reasonably priced for both food and drinks. I had the cauliflower steak and it was one of the best meals at a restaurant I have ever had!!!!! My friend had the chicken Parma and said it was great too. The staff are an absolute asset to the restaurant and we’re so helpful answering our questions, all with a smile (that in itself is rare these days so congrats to the management for employing such great staff! We will definitely be back!

This place has the best chicken parmigiana I have ever had delicious! Highly recommend eating here,
