For $50, you can have three small scallops, two small filets of salmon and cod, a prawn, a small lump of crab meat, a very generous portion of rice, and a sad little salad. The food (except for the cod) was well-cooked; however, the portion of seafood was incredibly disappointing. The waitstaff was nice. View all feedback.

Very nice place with tasty food, good staff and perfect view! Better make a reservation if you come at the evening
Is nice place in middle of nowhere. Is nice to visit for nature lovers
Our ship docked at Baie Comeau unexpectedly due to Hurricane Fiona, which caused us to have to skip two ports further north. After walking around the town, we were on our way back to the ship and saw this restaurant so decided to stop for lunch. It’s on the top floor of a small building overlooking the marina, filled with small boats, and close to the pier. There is outside seating on the balcony, but we opted for inside because of the wind. Jimmy, the owner/chef, welcomed us and recommended the seafood pizza prepared with white sauce. How could we go wrong? It was amazing! It was full of baby shrimp and mussels sourced locally, and one piece was all my husband and I could each eat! The menu has many seafood and other options, including wraps. Jimmy is a native of Baie Comeau and grew up in the restaurant business in the area, before opening his own place. We really enjoyed talking with him as we ate our pizza. Highly recommend St. James if you are in the area!
