The best place to experience the country side food, this is a place for die-hard meat lovers, all kinds of meat. The food is slowly cooked on wooden fired furnaces. Don't miss the sponge cake desert and the coffee brewed on hot embers. This place is in the "middle of no-where", access is via a dirt road, be sure to use the GPS. View all feedback.

I was here because the people say that was wonderfull. I dont see anything wonderfull. The food was regular, the people are regular. I saw 3 or 4 guys drinking wine in the kitchen, but honestly is not my SPOT. View all feedback.
We hiked to this little country side restaurant. What a find. The stove is an open fire on the floor. Get the steak.
The best meal we had in Portugal. They open at 1:00p, not 12:00 (as it says on google). Try to arrive close to 1:00 as the local lunch crowd all gets there within 10-20 min of opening. No menu, unless otherwise stated you’ll get the standard 4-5 courses, all rustic and delicious. The meat and potato dishes are cooked in this big brick oven in one of the dining rooms. Nobody we met really spoke English, but an experience not to be missed.
Fantastic food...great people
