It... read more Found this little gem after deciding last minute to go out for dinner rather than cook for our last night in Italy. Showed up at 8:30 without a reservation. It was very busy on a perfect night for outside dining. We were seated immediately and were waited on after a few minutes. Decided to go with a simple meal of the house red wine and two pizzas. Perfectly cooked and delicious. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing. After paying, we stood watching the end of the Croatia/Denmark World Cup match. We were invited to have a seat and given a free shot of limoncello. Wonderful, friendly staff with great food in an authentic Italian restaurant.

My wife and I both love good food and so we ate at some really high end restaurants during our stay in Italy. This place was very convenient and located less than ten minutes away from our amazing AirBnb and that was nice since we were very tired at the end the day. We had good service and the food was good. The prices were great and you get a lot of food for the price. That is called a good value. So, for the location and price this place gets my easy recommendation. I would eat here again if we stay in the area. My wife loved it and it has nice rustic charm and we had no issues with service. Just remember the service in Italy is different that other countries. Lots of Italian families eating here which is what you want to see. It was also helpful that the menu had an English translation so you have a clue what to order. Remember in Italy everyone eats later so don't expect to come very early. We would always come around 8:30pm at night but it is open earlier.

But it is too full and the waiters clearly can't serve all of them, they even had a fight. Also the kitchen is understaffed and the dishes are returned, at least 2 as we were there. Simple food, very tasty, incredible value for money, fast delivery of food. We were passing through the area a few times within a few weeks and ended up having dinner there almost 10 times. We were amazed every single time. It can get very busy in peak season and on weekends, but we have not experienced any service issues as described in some other reviews here. It was always 100% top notch. Don't expect the bells and whistles of a 5-star restaurant, but expect exceptional quality food with simple ingredients..exactly what you'd want when you travel to Italy.
