Première expérience à ce restaurant, ce soir d'été la terrasse abritée était garnie de monde, le service est sympathique et prévenant, les assiettes sont pleines mais la finition manque de goût. Dommage je ne suis pas sûr de retenter l'expérience... View all feedback.
Stayed here for one night before our trip to Berlin. The host was nice, kind and very helpful. He greeted us at the reception area and offered us drinks...

So.... Unsure where to park my bike after a 450 mile day in 35degC of humidity, I parked at the rear of the hotel. Before my legs had hit the ground I saw a chap marching toward me. Braced for "you can't leave that there" I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Hello, welcome to Athos. Would you like me to put that in a garage for you? Take your jacket off and I'll get you a beer". I was dumbfounded, in a good way obviously! And Athos just continued to impress me. I was shown to me room (bike safely locked away) and I honestly thought my host was joking. The room was HUGE! Old oak furnishings, a very comfy bad and a bathroom bigger than most hotel rooms I stay in ensured a great night's sleep and a very comfortable stay. Out of biker mode and in 'normal' clothes, I visited the restaurant. The food was traditional Greek and I have to say, very nice indeed, and very cheap in my view. Apart from my welcome beer (on the house) I received 3 Ouzo shots from my host, which probably contributed to my god night's sleep . I would have no hesitation in returning to Hotel Athos. The hospitality, accommodation, food and drink are all first class. Baden Baden is pretty nice too!Strongly recommended.
Located midway up a small hill a few minutes walk away from the Baden-Baden city centre, this quaint boutique hotel is warm and inviting from the minute you step in. The owner/manager/waiter (not sure which position he has, but whichever it is he is very capable in either role) is extremely friendly and very helpful. He immediately grabbed our 4 luggages and carried them to our room. Then on our last day although he doesn’t use the bus system often when we asked him a question regarding bus timetables, he was very quick to rush off to the nearest bus stop and explain everything to us. The room was also a delight, very spacious just for the two of us, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was also very pleasant. The breakfast was also very good, for just 6 euros per person we had a little buffet that was very satisfactory. Its a pity we were only staying one night. My only complaint was that the internet connection was a bit slow and the rooms were slightly noisy even at night - but I don’t know if this was just our room. If I ever come back to Baden-Baden I will definitely book at Hotel Athos again! Highly recommended.
A small hotel run by a Greek family, hotel is OK, smell of cooking in room, bed sagged in the middle, pillow hard, shower only had a low down holder, difficult to get a decent shower.Food was all Greek, and was OK.The good bits, it had parking, was cheap, and only 10min walk to town.
