After the restaurant had closed in our hotel, we visited - it was already quite late - the spatzennest located outside the park. the small beer garden was up to a table - our - full and actually there was only eating until 20.30h.... but we hungry souls still got a good, tasty carving besides a beautiful giant! What Anderson Hansen doesn't like about Spatzennest:
super location, right next to the lockhotel, but:I had several guests there, which the hotel was too expensive. at the end I got only complaining that the more prestigious would have blown my friends the coffee on the table, all were sucked out of the bed at 10:00 a.m., the showers were moldy, all under all the guns! Please don't let their guests stay here! View all feedback.
We stayed these times three days there, the rooms are clean and cozy,we have television and wlan .that eat is very good and is always freshly prepared .the couple that runs the restaurant and the pension is friendly and helpful .the breakfast offers everything you want.we felt very well received and have found for us a place where we feel very comfortable and we are happy to come back to it.
We were invited to a high time on the neighboring castle and slept in the pension spatzennest. at our arrival at 12.30 a.m., we were told that the kitchen "nun would only have small things" like currywurst, bratwurst or pommes. After announcing on the homepage we expected "freshly prepared dishes".The rooms were very simple and unfortunately also not cleaned: in the toilet was not rinsed so that there was still urine and toilet paper in it. in the shower stood still an old shower and on the console in front of the dirty mirror were dozens of different edges of tooth cream tubes and the like on the (unfortunately unsuccessful) search for a fön I found in the night table a leberwurst packed in film. the - according to the homepage "rich breakfast" - consisted of rolls, butter, two different sausage varieties, a cheese variety and expired jam.In addition, the dame and the herr who operate the retired were confronted with the guests, which was very unpleasant. The price for the double room was 58€ per night, which I find very overly in consideration of the above.

We were in the spatzennest several times even during the preparation of our high time in the neighboring castle. the current owners, family hofmann, have taken over the spatzennest ende 2013, already very much renovated and really beautifully executed. you quickly realize that the two are very much love and engagement investing. we have always felt wonderfully lifted and enjoyed the hospitality qualities. the menu is recommended and very diverse for a small pension. also the great breakfast in the modernly designed breakfast room has delighted us. on the eve of our high season there were quite uncomplicated, extra for our small company, steak and sausage from the grill - and that was wonderful!Enjoyingly, you can say that the price-performance ratio in the pension spatzennest is more than true and the hostes are very warm and accommodating.
For the small stay completely sufficient! simple, but clean and good!Love quiet in small place with great excursions.Prices are O.K.Pächter were nice and accommodating. All in all: >> thumb high
