This is perfect restaurant with wide choice of Austrian meals. It is frequently visited by the tourists travelling to Grundlsee in Gößl. You can find there all standard meals from Schnitzel to Kaiserschmarrn with good beer. Service is perfect and fast. During warm days and evenings is opened garden restaurant (sometimes only). Sometimes you can have a problem with free places. From the garden restaurant is nice view... View all feedback.
What Laurie Crooks doesn't like about Gasthaus Rostiger Anker:
On a perfect spot at the Grundlsee we had a good dinner on a sunny October day. I personally had the putenschnitzel (chicken). They made it very quick, but then again, the piece of meat was very thin. Still it was good taste and value...for money! View all feedback.
Very nice suppe and awesome Austrian pork “Schnitzel”. the waiters were extremely fast! a complete lunch time is approx. 20€, which is acceptable for what they get.
Came over the lake through coincidence - almost a false curve! it's really a nice place. the gasthaus anker was busy during the day – eating is typical Austrian tourist food – something of all – his well-made, tasty and much of it really enjoyed. my short stay in grundlesee and would go back in a flash.
Forelle was excellent cordon bleu was tasty free parking not expensive, main places 12=16 euro large terrace on the lake
Today was a beautiful day on the lake, all around the lake. we went to lunch, and the place was packed, with only one waiter (outside sitting.) after a long wait for order, we had to wait an extremely long time until the order is served (dry, with boiled, salted and spiced kartories) so much that I wanted to go up. Finally the fish was served, and it was really excellent. during the time we waited there suddenly came a cold wind from the sea that became unpleasant. for this the trout has formed. after a past, the dessert came. my wife had imperial marbles, and I had the best germs of all time! the food and the situation are great, but the service I experienced was terrible.
