We had just arrived in AVOLA and Giufa was our first meal . Didn't get any better ! Superb staff serving the freshest fish and seafood . The tuna was to die for ! Probably the nicest calamari grilled and fried we'd ever eaten ! Overall superb place to eat .. Comes recommended . Enjoy ! View all feedback.
What Axelis G doesn't like about Giufa Bistrot:
We did not manage to get to the Giufa bistrot first time round because car GPS navigator failed to find neither Elsa Moranti nor Contrada Zuccara street addresses confusingly attributed to the same place. Second time round we got there on Monday the 19th of September using Google map on a mobile after a few unsuccessful phone cslls to !!two different numbers but alas the place was shut and I learnt from the next door... Great dinner, nice place close to the beach. Choice of menu a bit limited and the waiters forgot a glass of wine. It was nice
Pretty busy restaurant on the sea front. Service was very good and professional. Food was nothing special and very average. Wife had pasta with mushrooms and it was watery and tasted like salt.
We were recommended this restaurant by our host. I asked if I could have spaghetti with clams and prawns without the mussels , which I am allergic to and squid. This request was flatly denied with no explanation or alternative offered. Service was brusque to the point of almost impolite. The food was average. I certainly do not recommend driving all the way there.

The food was absolutely amazing. Presentation, taste and service all excellent to reveal a most memorable experience! Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a kind and attentive staff. The owner, Antonino, informed us that the restaurant had just opened today and we were the first customers of the season! For appetizers my wife and I ordered octopus, cod and assorted fried fish. Simply amazing! The pasta dishes were mouth watering! The restaurant is also located right by the ocean. Gorgeous! We will be back for sure. Bravo Antonino and his family and staff!
