Blue Moon Over Avila - Avila Beach

My wife and I are more vegan. I was dressed to this new kitchen because her menu has a vegan element clearly listed. four items are on the vegetarian side of the menu, but it seemed as if it were easy to vegan-ize others. it is a beautiful location on avila beach, and our June lunch was a beautiful day with sunny skiers and sea brisks. our server was very friendly and seemed ready to accommodate us. but it became clear that they do not really understand what is vegan. no butter with the brot, but I asked if the brot itself was vegan, and got empty look. brüssel sprouts are not on the menu as vegan, but it seemed simply enough to make them so, and still they came served with an aioli that contained acid cream. ratatouille was three quarter zucchini, which seemed cheap and unimaginatiw. where was the sorted summer vegetables promised in the menu? when the manager made his rounds, my complained received a ten percent discount. the lack of vegan training of its restaurants deserved this review.

Great vegan choices, including avocado tart. The daily special dessert was vegan the day I visited a Brownie a la fashion. Both were very delicious! Beautiful outdoor terrace with sea view. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Can only give 5 stars, but I wish I could give more! From the view of the sea and the comfortable Bistro style seating to the excellent food and the beautiful staff is this place?! We loved everything we ordered, and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list we appreciated. French cuisine in an ocean view setting perfection!

Excellent French restaurant in Avila. Directly on the water and many outdoor seating. We had a planner with guard. A Monsieur Sandwich, too. It was a hot day, so also for a few glasses refreshing rose. Delicious and the perfect combination. The street musician on the skateboard was a catastrophe, but what can you do. I think someone paid him to get away. Very recommended.

Wow. We were lucky to have Angela as our server that made our anniversary night perfect like the food. From support staff to owner, this is a first-class place. And the food was also amazing. Loved to watch the sunset as an amazing meal. A must go.
