During our time interailing we called in here one night for a burger to get a quick bite.The service was excellent and the waiter was really helpful and spoke g... read more During our time interailing we called in here one night for a burger to get a quick bite.The service was excellent and the waiter was really helpful and spoke good English.The food was good, I had a blue cheese burger and my girlfriend had a steak and frites.They have a nice little selection of beers which compliment the burgers well.Would recommend this place and go back again if I was in Avignon.

You give your order by the counter and take your drink of choice yourself from around 4 transparent refs. Burgers were served and it was cooked to perfection. After your meal, you go to the counter to pay. Very clear

Everybody was very friendly, we got as much water as we liked and French fries with two dips for free. When we gave a rather generous tip for the excellent service and the very good food, we were told to pick anything we liked from a little snack bar on the side. I had the best burger in a long time at Chez Bodus (the Hollywood megalo, at 9,50€ the most expensive burger) and really delicious fries with a homemade sauce. Chez Bodus is mostly frequented by locals which makes for a very relaxed French atmosphere in an American looking environment.

After searching a bit of the beaten track, we found this little 'fast food ' joint which offered tasty, high quality food and fast service. The meat was fantastic and of high quality. Chips crispy and flavoursome. The service was great and the man who served us was friendly and spoke English so we could make our order.

I h... read more I was looking for a place to eat for late dinner during rainy evening at Avignon. I came across this place as a last minute decision as it was getting late. I have to say that this place is a gem. They make the burger out of fresh meat that they grind on site. The bun is so fresh and soft almost like brioche. It was cooked perfectly as ordered. I ordered the Hollywood megalo with the fries which was tasty and came with different choice of homemade sauces, I picked the tartar. Everyone was so helpful and friendly (since I do not speak much of french), especially the chef was very welcoming which he came to the front to ask if the burger was alright and it was a perfection of course. You can order the wine by glass or bottle and they also have beer and soft drinks as well as coffee. I would recommend this place and will return for another bite of delicious burger. This is the burger you want to have when you are in Avignon!!!
