As a French Bourguignon Native, It is very easy to tell when Jambon Persille or Oeuf Meurette is real or not. Here at the rendez-Vous restaurant you don 't need hesitate. You can definitely feel that someone is cooking. The service is also very attentive and the wine selection perfect. You are in Burgundy and very close from Chablis, then here you drink local. This restaurant does not have any ambiance, ok that is fine. But the food was really below average. The tuna salad was fresh out of the can, if I make it at home it tastes better. The main course mixed fish was...well the scallop tasted like a chewing gum ball and the rest was below average. The dessert was ok and this was something to enjoy. Staff was very friendly! On the way to Auxerre, the restaurant was advised by a friend. No regret, very good table and very good staff. Don't hesitate, but you have to book.
Very good cuisine, good advice for wines. A better decor will be a real plus for this good restaurant. I recommend.
