I always come here when I'm in town! Such a small key vibe and the drinks are great! And there is pool, a photo cabin, terrace... they have everything! Try the Pina... View all feedback.
What John Gunther doesn't like about Shangri-la:
Really cool “speakeasy” in the depths of the Shangri-La. You have to go to the back patio, go upstairs a d ring the bell for entrance. The bartender seemed more interested in hitting on a red haired gal than interacting with customers. Drinks are good priced. Service meh…. View all feedback.
Another great dive bar where you can drink cheaper than most places in Austin. They have a Lone Star and a Makers shot for $9 and their Old Fashioneds are $8 which is half of most places in town. There are a bunch of other great specials there and signature cocktails. It was always crowded but never a problem getting drinks and the crowd turns over fast enough that you likely won't wait long to find a place to park it
This small place exudes a friendly atmosphere and serves fresh seafood. With its cozy ambiance, it's a delightful spot for seafood lovers. The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering fish dishes prepared with care. The attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. For those craving a taste of the ocean, this charming fish restaurant is a must-visit destination.
Great patio, solid music playing. Excellent service but the drinks are a bit high. Overall, a very nice spot to sit down and enjoy a nice day over a drink.
This place has Big Deck Energy. They also have a good Happy Hour that runs until 6:30, and Golden Castle food truck parked out back.If you’re going for a cocktail, I recommend the Mezcal Molly.
I went here this past weekend, and it was my first time ever going to this place. I had saw it on a Instagram real where it showed that there was a hidden speakeasy “The Treasury” within this bar, so I messaged some friends asking them if they wanted to check it out. I was super impressed with the overall layout and how cool calm and collected this little hole in the wall was. I was really impressed with their cocktail drinks that they were serving and just the overall vibe of the place. It was super cute and such a clever idea to have this little hidden gem within the bar/restaurant. Look for the greenlight!
