Always had good food here. Service can be slow at times but its worth the wait for food. I got pad mee kao with tofu and crispy duck stir fry. The pad mee kao is my usual go to order and it's one of the best in austin. The seasoning is always on pointloaded with fresh veggies. The crispy duck was tasty as well and it came with a side of rice View all feedback.
What Abraham Cabrera doesn't like about Muangthai:
Server was polite and understood our order. Food took 50 minutes to get to us and as I was about to call it quits, it showed up. Presentation of food was great however my Pad Thai tasted a bit funny. Not bad but like not what I?m used to. I thought it had aketchup base but after asking at checkout I was told it had paprika seasoning. Everything else was fine but the paprika took meby surprise. Next time I?ll order wi... View all feedback.
So I came in this restaurant and ordered the papaya salad and fried rice with tofu and egg because i don?t eat meat and omg the presentation of the food was amazing, and the flavors was so awesome. I definitely will make this my go to from now on! Also, Iam very big about cleanliness. This restaurant is super clean. I visited this restaurant three times in one week !!!
Oh. My. Goodness. This was an excellent choice. Wow. Appetizer: Fried Dumplings Fried wonton skin stuffed with ground pork, crab meat, and bamboo shoots. Served with sweet and sour black sauce. These were so delicious! Entree: Tom Yum Ta-layHeang Stir-fried scallops, shrimp, squid and mussels, basil, tomatoes, scallions and onions in house hot and sour sauce. Thesauce in this dish was amazing! Recommended.
The server was polite and took our order without any issues. However, it took 50 minutes for our food to arrive, and just as I was about to give up hope, it finally showed up. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, but my Pad Thai had a strange taste. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I expected. I thought it had a ketchup base, but when I inquired at checkout, I learned it was seasoned with paprika. Everything else was fine, but the paprika caught me off guard. Next time, I'll order without the paprika, as I believe it doesn’t belong in the dish. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed, which contributed to the delay in our food. I was also informed that a cook/server had called out, which further impacted the timing. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because of the wait and the unexpected paprika, but otherwise, everything else was delicious!
This is a fantastic Thai restaurant that offers unique Bahmee dishes. Be sure to try the soup; it’s definitely worth it! The lunch soups are excellent as well, and they have different options available every day.
I've consistently enjoyed great food at this restaurant. While the service can be a bit slow at times, the wait is definitely worth it. I ordered the Pad Mee Kao with tofu and the crispy duck stir fry. The Pad Mee Kao is my usual choice, and it’s one of the best in Austin. The seasoning is always spot on, and it’s packed with fresh vegetables. The crispy duck was delicious too, and it came with a side of rice.
