Great place to step back and share a meal with a friend at a more casual pace. Can be done at lunch, but it is also a wonderful break for breakfast. The outdoor terrace is quiet. Food is very good breakfast is my favorite, bread and pastries are delicious with a variety, their soups are simply wonderful, coffee(s) are also great. What User doesn't like about La Madeleine:
Bugs in seats at this point. I was horrified to find what looked like bedbugs in my seat. One is shown below. Managers and another employee didn't care when I showed them the picture of the mistakes. Wouldn't remove the chair or block the table. Contacted health department and came to La Madeline. Inacceptable. This place should be closed until proper cleaning takes place. I go to this place very often, there are only two branches near my house and the closest is Lamar's, in my opinion the service is lousy I only go for the food but I would like to receive much better service I go very often and I have never felt comfortable with the service and attention and apart from that the restaurant is very quiet, I will return only for the food greetings and I wish you improve the service thanks Food: 5 Service: 2
I always dread coming to this location, the cashier always speaks in a condescending tone- i went in this morning and order a chicken caesar sandwich with a tomato soup, i was told that the soup isn 't ready when i asked if he knew when it was gonna be ready he went and checked and said not anytime soon, it 's 7:00 in the morning (it was closer to 8:00) maybe i 'm confused but i was under the impression that once opened, the food is already prepped and ready to go- even if this is not the case he did not have to speak with such an attitude. the food is great but from now on i will drive the extra miles to go to the barbra jordan location.
Above and beyond! Chawky (the GM and his team were magnificent! I was there to pick up a very large catering order. While I was packing the lunches I overheard Chawky, the GM, helping a woman and her son who accidentally came to the wrong location for their To-Go pick up. His team made their order right on the spot. They offered me a complimentary beverage while I was waiting on my sizable order of almost 40 lunches. Absolute grace and kindness. White glove service at this location.
