It is not warned that there are much better places to walk. Okay, that's not so good the best I had here was the FREE side of the beans. I went on a sxsw bbq tour this was by far the most expensive and overall worst taste. The actual restaurant was beautiful tho she tv 's everywhere felt very new. A great place that is quite fast and easy to grab some old fashion bbq in downtown. We went during a Sunday dinner and waited 10 min to come forward and order food. Ordered half pound brisket and half beef pound ribs with 3 sides. Divided between a friend, and we were filled! After order you can eat immediately! Has bar, indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer bread and pinto beans for free.
Friendly service and delicious food exactly what you would expect! First tempted inside, but the delicious smell of fresh BBQ meat, we were not disappointed by our decision. The brisket melts in your mouth and the ribs were tasteful and juicy. A little expensive, especially on the sides, but overall the experience was perfect. Just on the Jalapeño Paprika!
Fantastic place in downtown Austin for BBQ! You order meat by weight (the brisket I got was super juicy and tasteful) and then choose from a variety of pages (frries, baked potatoes, beans etc.). Onion, pumpkins and bread as well as soda/tea are free. Large selection of beer also! The attitude was amazing, it would highly recommend!
The food here is excellent to say the least. You will get more than enough to enjoy. Try the BBQ sauce and the baked beans you pick up after you pay.
First proper American BBQ experience, we have some BBQ spots in Australia run by American Pit masters so I have some kind of baseline but this was just impressive. Long queue but moved quickly, efficient ordering and great selection, we had Pork Loin, Beef Ribs, Chicken and Sausage and it was all executed brilliantly. Great service too
