Dharma Swasti - Auroville

Dharma Swasti is a temple of food. The spirit of the place is rare on earth to be so dedicated to healing and wholesome food. There is genuine love and caring from Sagar and his team. In the evenings the gentle fire that burns like...a Dhuni is a place of healing and love.

The rustic wooden gate, the enchanting light fixtures, the vibrant marigold petals scattered on the walkway and tables, the outdoor seating on straw mats in the grass under a crescent moon...the gentle sounds of flute and drum music...the incredibly delicious menu...with fresh herbs picked right before cooking...generous portions at a reasonable price...and all dishes are vegan. Everything about this restaurant is gentle on the body and on the environment. A nourishing and satisfying experience.

An unfortunate restaurant that gives vegan cuisine a bad name.The service is poor and if that's not enough your stomach takes a few days to fully recover! Would not go back

This restaurant is a wonderful spot to enjoy delicious vegan cuisine and fantastic concerts. The food is top-notch and carefully prepared, creating a chill and artistic atmosphere. The music selection is diverse and amazing, and guests even have the opportunity to join in if they are musicians or singers themselves. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit.

We went here after reading the reviews from several other people. To my surprise there were three people in the cafe for service, cleaning and cooking! and there were three dishes available out of entire menu! But I went ahead and ordered Sushi Maki and...Khou Suey. The Sushi was horrible and was smelling fish(this is a pure veg restaurant). The Khou suey was manageable and at least i could stuff it inside my mouth! After eating here, I got my stomach upset for days!
