I attended this cafe around 9am on a Saturday. The menu is decent with some great options with all the standards you would expect of a brunch venue. Coffee was good. I pork knuckle Benedict was good however I did have to send the first one back as the eggs were over cooked. Waitress was flat out as it appears multiple event unexpectedly busy. I did try to order another coffee but couldn’t gain the attention of the wa... View all feedback.

A multi-year breakfast favorite for Auckland CBD area. Never disappointed and many creative options to choose from. Service is always friendly and helpful when you are in Auckland, please pass and start a day right. I visited this place every time I'm in town, which is about a dozen or so often. I was in many other places, but I still find myself here. Quality is just consistent and good every time. So it's quite all on the menu absolutely wonderful. Favourites must be the avocado on toast, not your run of the mill basic before toast, but a wonderful soup version with lots of herbs on thick sliced toast and a Balsamico vinaigrette that harm all other avo toasts. The other one has to try is the fungus girl on Toast. Really rich and wonderful, umami everything. Do not forget to add a fried egg! Your house made Manuka smoked salmon is a beautiful addition to their zucchini frit. Many options for vegans and vegetarians, but if you need more protein, they also have large bacon and other meat dishes and sandwiches. Did I mention they're making a middle cup of Joe?
A small café, in part of the Auckland construction extravaganza, but worth the effort to find! Definitely for a new visit next time I'm in town. Loved the completely non-standard avocado on toast.
Nice place with beautiful atmosphere and good coffee. We ordered eggs on gluten-free bread and an avocado on bread and we were happy with it. Also here beautiful ladies work: I also ordered a Zinger juice I loved!
Our first meal in Auckland and it was the perfect spot to start the vacation. The space is large, bright, and breezy with the open air lack-of-windows when the weather is good. It’s a mixed use space where you can come here for brunch which is excellent or have a coffee and snack while you get some work done. We both ordered eggs benny. One was a smoked salmon one while the other was the more classic style with lashings of bacon. They were both delicious with perfectly poached eggs that provided the yolky thick sauce along with the hollandaise to make it rich and creamy. The bread was thick cut and toasted well to hold up against the weight of the sauce and protein stacked on top. We really felt energized and less jet-lagged after taking our time to enjoy the meal along with a cup of New Zealand organic tea. The place is also located in a “quiet” street corner of the Auckland Central Business District which was a real bonus. Overall, a great first meal choice here in Auckland for us.
