What Addison Daugherty doesn't like about Vatan:
I had tried food in this restaurant a few months back and didn't like it at all. The kebab was too undercooked, and the rice was greasy. At that time I decided not to go there again. However, two weeks ago one of my friends...asked me to be his company. I would say the quality of food was the really poor! Also the staff were so angry and tired. I had Chello Kabab here. The rice was very nice (9/10). The Kabab Koobideh (minced lamb kabab) was average (5/10). Dish served with a free freshly baked naan (bread). That is impressive as Indian restaurants charge $2.50 and above for a stale re-heated one.The staff member taking the order was warm with a smile but the waiter acted like a robot. You are not a robot my child. You are a human being serving another human being. Be proud and happy about it or find another job.The whole dish was $12! That is less than a burger and fries these days. Where do you get such value? The bread was so nice I bought extra to take home.
We eat here on a regular bases and the place never fails. Simple atmosphere amazing service and even better food.
You won't find better. The bread is superb and made the traditional way. The kaleh pacheh on a weekend can't be beaten. It is well worth the trip to Auburn.
