What a fantastic restaurant that was tucked away near the docks. We had a bit of a wait but no worries we were entertained by the woman who took our names at the door. They said 45 minute wait and it was more like 20. Once inside we were charmed by the seafood smells and it was crowded. Wow! The views are spectacular! Love sitting right by a window to the sea. Coleslaw was amazing!! The fired shrimp appetizer also tasted good. I wasn't really impressed Eric's Stuffed Shrimp. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I tried a bite from my parents catfish and it could have been bred catfish, not safe, but there was no taste at all and no spices in the dough. I think I expected more taste overall. Fast service, good food and a beautiful view. This is a classic beach restaurant casual and tasty. The Koleslawin is fantastic. You also have cheap lunch specialties. I come here at least 5 times a year.
Visited on Monday evening in the heart of the holiday season. At 6:12, it was said that the waiting time for a table would be 1.5 hours. Take our number and kill some time. Text service on table availability one hour later. Our server was very friendly and cared for us. Menu has a wide selection of traditional NC seafood flavor? steamed, grilled, black, fried, complete with a senior and children's menu. Beer and wine availability. Family owned and operated, you can say how they treat their clientele. It was my first visit, but won? If you want excellent seafood with the ambience of a small city ENC local restaurant, it is a must to visit.
Testing several seafood places in the area. This is the place to go. The portions corresponded to the price. A fried combination plate was ordered and an item was wrong. The waitress brought out the right article in time, no foot. Coleslaw is delicious! The plan was for long lines. On the sound side, great views even inside. External seats are available. Causal beach table service, no need to dress extra, just go and enjoy.

Upon entering the restaurant the fishy odor is really strong, but no worries there b/c it?s a seafood restaurant. Friendly staff and clean dining area. I was excited to go b/c the reviews are really good and I was ready for sea food. When our food came out my crab legs had hair on top (covered the dish), but went underneath the potato that was off to the side of the dish. I requested fries after (pictured) which I couldn?t eat b/c after I see hair in my food i no longer want it. My son had the same 2lb crab with 2 sides dish, husband had fried oysters and scallops (pictured), and my sons friend had the 8oz lobster tail with fries and cheese sticks. I got an order of oysters as an appetizer. Our bill was $180. Everyone said their food was good and tasty. Service was good as well just wish the cooking staff wore hair nets (saw chefs in the kitchen as we were leaving and the door opened and I didn?t see hair nets). Will I go back again? No, I?ll pass..
