Jackson recommended the craft cocktails and they did not disappoint. Dinner was excellent. The sea bass and fish and chips were crispy and delicious. This place is a hidden gem View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Consulate:
We went for the Korea menu experience and overall were slightly disappointed. We had a 6:15 reservation and by the time we left it was 7:45 and we didn’t even receive all the food we ordered. We asked for the mandu, truffle bulgogi, scallion pancake and the baby octopus. The pancake never came out and the baby octopus was over cooked. Good flavor just way too rubbery. We love this place so we had saved it for a speci... View all feedback.
My girlfriend and I were visiting Atlanta and loved this place. We ordered food from all over the world (Cote D'Ivoire and India) and it was all delicious. The beer was the same way I ordered a stout from Japan. The decor was very pleasing to the eye. The service was quick and the servers highly knowledgeable. And the prices, for the quality we got, were completely reasonable. I recommend this place in a heartbeat.
The Consulate is set in a very nondescript area, but upon entering, you're met with a very unique atmosphere that perfectly fits the ambiance of the restaurant. The decor, music, and tables fantastically fit the vibe that the Consulate is going for, and these details really elevated my experience. Now, about the food. Every single dish that we ordered had its own unique flairs that allowed for that specific country's flavors to really shine. The chefs here really know what they're doing, and each appetizer and entree contained such vibrant and contrasting flavors, but somehow, they all came together to create an amazing culinary experience that took me across the world. If I had to pick favorites, though, I would definitely recommend the Korean BBQ Duck Confit and the Turkish Cheesecake. These were definitely highlights of my meal, and I hope that you try them too. As for service, to say that it was phenomenal is an understatement. Cecilia, our server, was extremely accommodating and would help us out with whatever we needed. The food and drinks came out very quickly, and we didn't have to wait for a single dish. It felt really strange because usually I'm accustomed to waiting a few minutes between dishes, but every plate came right as we were finishing another. Their service timing was impeccable. Overall, I'm super impressed by everything that the Consulate has to offer, and I'll definitely be coming back in the future!
Had an amazing time with family and friends. The atmosphere was fantastic. Had a private room and our server Wesley was amazing. He's well versed in the menu and everything else. Ask for him to be your server. The drinks were terrific Very a unique menu, but the food was amazing. Highly recommended...
My friends and I had the most fabulous evening this week at The Consulate. Eric made sure we got a seat, even though he shared it might be precarious. The atmosphere, vibe, staff and food were all on point. It was a very enjoyable evening to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Thank you for an amazing evening and establishment. Added a few of the things we ordered. I would have ordered more if we could have eaten it all. Thank you Wesley and Brandon for providing amazing service.
Went here for a dinner on a Thursday night. We’re lucky enough to get a table. This place was an absolute pleasant surprise. They do a rotating menu every 3 months for a Different nation. They also had a standard menu of their most popular items from around the world. Great food, great ambience, great drinks, great service. I love this place.
