Contribute FeedbackMetro 8 is a restaurant that received mixed reviews from customers. While some praised the quality of the food, such as the amazing steak and the porcini mushrooms, others were disappointed by the limited menu options and lack of Italian dishes. The service also received mixed feedback, with some diners experiencing slow service while others had a great experience with attentive and friendly staff. Pricing seemed to be a common concern, with some finding the restaurant a bit expensive. Overall, Metro 8 seems to be a good spot for special occasions or group gatherings, with a nice atmosphere and good food options.
Had a great time here with a large group (14). Our server Gilbert has taken care of our group with the other employees and the management. Dishes came nicely plated and at once! Not just for a big table! Great selection of dishes all made very good. Our group ordered at least once about each dish in the menu and everyone seemed enthusiastic. A little expensive, but very typical of a restaurant in a hotel. Would be a great date night or pre/post opera/show spot. We're coming back!
The food was phenomenal and the staff. The nice time will come back soon. Thanks for the brilliant experience.
Not Italian in the least, but still good! Recommend the Sirloin on the yarn cake. Beautiful taste and perfectly cooked. Scallop's appetizer was a big, not completely tasteless. But the steak was enough for 4 stars. Service is GREAT, atmosphere is cold. I was served by a woman named Samir (by the entrance) and she was wonderful. Great way to finish a long working day.
For the life of, I don't know how to represent this place as Italian. For dinner at least, it is NOT Italian fare. We booked there for dinner after seeing a large Italian menu that was published before the restaurant before the day. We could no longer have been shocked and disappointed to hand over a menu with only 5 Entree selections, none of which were Italian. Instead, eat at the bar or go over the street to the shopping center for a variety of restaurants.
Long wait. 90 minutes. Either stay open all year or trim down menu. Look forward to seeing a positive change as we have 2 conferences a year here and hotel is lovely.
