Atkinson Subway is reminiscent of a glimpse of heaven. In the middle of nowhere in our road trip we chanced on this little subway. What a delightful stop. Incredibly clean inside, and the sandwich artist put so much care into making our food. The plating was a 10/10. Freshness of the ingredients, 10/10. Will be sure to stop by View all feedback.

Not overly busy at lunch time on a Sunday, but half the tables were taken. Staff wasn’t rude but didn’t make me feel welcome.I got the meatball sub. Meatballs were crispy burnt… I didn’t finish my sandwich. Wife got a pepperoni sub- when she got to veggies she passed on all of them because they did not look fresh. Might be permanently closed? Tables and booths outside. Labor day so could have just been closed due to staffing.
We were asking for apparently too much stuff on our sandwiches and got yelled at because it would’ve been faster if we told him what we didn’t want on the sandwiches. Rude as heck!!
The young gentleman sandwich artist was working by himself with a lobby full of 15 people- continuous flow of people coming in. We ate in the lobby and it was super clean. He did very well and remained calm with the constant flow but I think that was bad scheduling from a business perspective. Dinner time is a busy time!! Poor guy! But he did very well and my sandwich was awesome!
Vegetarian options: Bread was stale and hard Kid-friendliness: Not friendly
The place was busy. The food server was fast and friendly.
