The Coffee Club - Atherton

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was very crowded.

The first time we went to this cafe, the service was terrible and the wait for service was too long. We said we wouldn't go back. Foolishly, we dared to eat there a second time and we have sworn NEVER again. Again, slow service, exorbitant prices and tiny portions. We ate lunch there, but the portions were so small that we had to eat a second lunch when we got home. We really dislike this cafe and are never, ever going there again. Save your money and your appetite and go elsewhere is my advice!

The service at the Coffee Club in Atherton leaves quite a lot to be desired. The dreadful,superior attitude of both ladies behind the counter was breathtaking. Both women have little to no understanding of the art of coffee and no idea what basic customer service is all about. The experience was as bitter as the coffee they served.

Only good thing about this cafe is the coffee is mediocre. Food is never of the quality expected of a Coffee Club. The last time (and I mean "last time ever") I ordered haloumi cheese on a poached egg with tomato, as soon as it hit the table I could smell that the shamefully flat piece of so called haloumi cheese was off. I pushed this aside and tried the poached egg with tomato and could not stomach it. I asked for a refund and swore to myself this was the last time I would attend this cafe. Coffee Club Atherton you need to pick up your game. Shame on you for serving such horrible food to customers at the prices you ask for. I will not be recommending your cafe to anyone.

A great place to visit for coffee or a cold drink. Delicious food and a great choice. Very pleasant staff. I would go there again
