Loved our experience Maepole in Athens! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The menu is simple and easy to read and understand. Really enjoyed all plant-based options they had. View all feedback.

I used to order from here fairly often and have recently started eating ?out? again. I only received 4 pieces of chicken with this order. The food is delicious, but definitely disappointed with this ratio. I?d prefer less of the side and more of the entree. View all feedback.
Really great place for healthy and delicious food! Found this place unexpectedly a few months back and I can?t wait to go back! Pretty good prices and great cozy atmosphere! The outdoor seating area is so beautiful and peaceful! Can't rave enough about the food! And their homemade drinks? All right.
I love it! I felt great after eating, and I value their authenticity. My friend Rachele blessed me with this place. We sat outside wrapped up in blankets, chatting the night away. This restaurant is an excellent place for that.

This place is small and you can only order your food online and pick it up to eat it outside which I thought was a bit strange cause most restaurants have opened back up BUT if this review is based solely on the food then this place is amazing. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The brown rice mixed with the mashed sweet potatoes was ingenious. The radish and cucumber was slightly citrusy but in the best way. The chicken was a bit dry but it was not as noticeable when paired with the spicy avocado and honey sriracha sauces. The lemonade was too sour and paying $1 for a tiny sliver of kimchi was NOT worth it but it makes up for it with you being able to recycle or compost almost everything they use, including the utensils. Hubby had the pork which was also a little dry but flavorful and the quinoa salad was good but not as good as the sweet potato. Would definitely recommend!
The restaurant scene and Athens itself have expanded greatly since I attended UGA. One can argue whether this is good thing or a bad thing, but Maepole is good, and I would categorize it as the Gen Z successor to Five Star Day which closed its doors several years ago warehouse vs cozy, home cooking with an international flair. Anytime we can get healthy and well prepared food on the road, it's already a win. Maepole achieves this. It is super easy to order online, but make sure to order your sauces if you want them. I noticed them on the menu, not sure if they are a la carte, but since there was no push during the ordering process to select them, I am guessing they are an add on. The wide variety of home prepared, non meat choices (but with some proteins available) makes Maepole truly unique.
