Vegan Vegetarian Cafe 108 Sq.m - Astana

Went here several times in September 2022 and everything we ate there was absolutely amazing. As a vegan visiting Kazakhstan, this place was truly heaven!

A must for vegans visiting Astana, I had pizza and it was fabulous. It is a shame I only had chance to visit once.

This is the only place in Astana that I'm aware of where you can get authentic vegan Kazakh food. The Besparmak, Uzbek Manti, Lagman, non fish, etc. are all delicious and well worth the visit. The hostess is extremely kind and they greet you very warmly here. I'm not vegan, but I can vouch that the besbarmak, pelmeni, Manti, and other delicious foods are authentic taste wise and pleasantly close to the original dishes. In all honesty, I was blown away at the quality of the food.

Excellent vegetarian cafe in Kazakhstan's capital with plentiful vegan options. It has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere and is close to public transportation. It's not off of the main road, but don't be discouraged if it takes a few minutes to find! This place really is a haven for vegans and vegetarians in Kazakhstan. They also make vegan cheese here. I had a salad with avocado and pine nuts and mushroom soup. Both were delicious, especially the salad (and I am not usually a huge fan of salads). The menu has many options from different cuisines, and it is ALL vegetarian.

We ordered the vegan pizza from the menu, but when brought to the table it was nothing like in the description. When asked about it, the owner!! of the place said it is the first time he sees it on the English menu. Also the buns in the burgers were very stale. Not impressed! The avo salad was ok.
