Our preferred pizza stop when in ASPEN. Very good pizza, the prices are reasonable. These slices are huge, and very quick service. All pizzas hand tossed, salads are also excellent. Beer on tap, a variety of menu items are available. View all feedback.
What Shravan A doesn't like about New York Pizza:
This place has some really good pizza, but the service was left, wanting a lot more desirable, unfortunately. The guy who seems to be the one taking orders and fulfilling them somehow comes across rude, mean, and grumpy, and I couldn't think of a reason other than me having skin of different color. Yes, he came across as a racist to me! Kept us waiting for over 45 minutes for our ordered pizza and didn't bother to ca... View all feedback.
First pizza in Aspen and it was great! The prices are great and staff are very friendly. It was just me so I chose a pizza by the slice, pepperoni and sausage and it was very good. I will definitely be returning. It is upstairs, so not handicap accessible. It’s also not a very big place, but well worth the trip.
Pizza by the slice or whole pizza. They were so busy, but still got to our order pretty quick. Good deals on NY style pizzas, with their huge XL Pizza being the best deal. Great location right in down town Aspen.
If you 're looking for terrible service, mediocre food, and a surly and dismissive staff, then this is the place for you.We ordered two small pizzas for our kids as take out and were told they would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later and waited patiently in the pick up line for take out, only to be visibly ignored by the manager along with the rest of the take out customers for another 15+ minutes while he helped people placing new orders. When the growing line of take out patrons finally got him to pay attention to our already placed orders, he helped the others and curtly told me that my order wasn 't ready yet, then had a sidebar with the chef, who *only then* started making our order, nearly an hour after it was placed. There was no admission of their mistake, no explanation, and no apology whatsoever. Topping it off, the pizza sucks. Soggy bread and off tasting cheese. Yum.I hope someone decides to open a real New York style pizzeria in Aspen, so local residents and visitors can get the service and food they deserve.
This is genuinely the saddest excuse for pizza. It used to be great for the 20 years I’ve been coming here. I would avoid this place at all costs. The pizza is flavorless, little cheese, no sauce, no seasoning, the dough could break your teeth, and to tie it all together, it’s burnt! The staff is also as rude as can be as many other reviews have stated. I’m genuinely disappointed and sad about this restaurant. I would avoid this place at all costs and give your money to a better restaurant that isn’t disgusting.
