Never had a bad experience in this place. I've been here regularly for almost ten years, and to this day this place has the most amazing Thai food in Richmond, hands down. I drive 20 minutes through the city, past several other Thai Vietnamese places to come here and it is always worth the ride. The owner was always welcoming, friendly and committed. His home made hot sauce is also incredible. Very recommended!

The Thai gourmet was great as usual. The food is plentiful and inexpensive, it comes out in time, and the staff is very friendly. I had the Duck Pad Thai tonight and the host even paid attention to the spices. Very recommended.

The owner was welcoming and gracious when we stopped for dinner during a long trip. We could say that this is a fave local place that judges by the heavy pick-up traffic, and we were the only ones in the dining room. The food was fresh and delicious, served quickly. We ordered crispy rolls, dumplings, beef special shrimps with red rice vegetables. Leftovers came home with us. Friendly host gave us coffee candies and offered water for the rest of our trip. Will be highly recommended again!

I love this restaurant! The owner is always friendly and the food is delicious!! I usually get padthai and crispy roles, but I tried many dishes over the years. It's a little mother n pop restaurant, and I'm sure they're muded at certain times. A little patience and understanding can go a long way!
