Greatest place to eat on the west coast, The food is second to none, the staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. View all feedback.
What leslie lundin doesn't like about El Paraiso Mexican Cuisine:
Average quality traditional Mexican food and atmosphere. The chips and salsa were ok but not great. In general it was average imo but many people think average is great so don't let me dissuade you from going. I did like the popper at the end. View all feedback.
The staff was very friendly, chips and salsa were fresh, spicy Jalapeño margarita was great and the Posole was solid. However the Queso Fundido con Camarones was anything but FUN! It was actually a queso dip with too much salt and more of a queso soup, not stew that lacked any similarities to a true taffy like Queso Fundido. This version was something you might have at the most Gringo of Super Bowl parties. I’m a Gringo, so I can say that and I’ve spent time in Mexico, Denver and even San Diego to know the difference between Fundido and Soup. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but wish they’d change the name of the dish or learn to honor the name Queso Fundido.
read moreGood food and great service. We ordered a sampler plate and a fajita dish to share. The food was very good and there was a lot of it. Reasonably priced. The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and we enjoyed eating here. The margaritas were large and yummy. I would eat here again. There is a bar area so other customers can relax and have a few drinks. Everyone seemed to be having a good time talking to the staff.
read moreThis was a perfectly reasonable road trip Mexican meal. Food and margaritas were fine. But very good? Not really. Good enough, for sure.
The food was delicious. The menu is very broad with lots of choices and Mexican favorites. We were greet by friendly host staff and the wait staff was friendly, prompt and helpful. The atmosphere was festive and lots of locals were enjoying themselves. Conveniently located a quick walk from the Holiday Express, it made for a delightful dinner after a long day of driving
read moreMy friends and I have been to this restaurant many times and have usually had good service and food although I have always ordered the enchilada with rice and beans. This time I decided to order something different so I ordered the Mexican Burrito. I had seen people eating these Burritos before and figured it was worth a try. When it arrived it looked great. When I started to eat I realized the plate was really hot but the burrito was only warm. I should have sent it back at that time but didn 't because I was somewhat limited on time. My first bite indicated the steak? strips were really tough. The next thing was thtat the flour tortilla was slimy and the more I chewed the bigger it got. TERRIBLE !! I put it off to the side and told my friend there is no way I was eating this afraid it would sit in my stomach for a week. When the waiter came by to check on us I told him my issues with the food. No apology from him only I 'll check with the manager I am sure he never did because I still didn 't receive an apology only a bill for the full amount (over $13.00) and he walked away not saying a word. I was eating there about once a week before this happened but I am not a slow learner. so NEVER AGAIN. the 3 to 4 friends that come with me are not going there either. It was a poor decision on their part to handle this the way they did. NOT HAPPY
