Burger Barn - Ashland

Not only is the place lovely and very clean. But the staff is wonderful, very friendly and the food is amazing. The cheese curds were so delicious. We had both burgers and we loved them. Fast service. Appropriately expensive. And just a fun experience. Can't wait to go back.

Nice place with friendly staff. Chill, relaxing atmosphere. Cheese curds were ingenious (but they served in the cone, the curls left on the bottom a greasy mess - a simple basket would be better). Also the frits were good, but the chicken patty in a sandwich was used cheap and processed. A real chicken breast would have made this place 5 stars. With a little attention to quality The Burger Barn could be a real jewel!

Be ready for a surprise! The outside fools you! Interior is so funny and welcoming. I had the BLT. Very good sandwich. The Burger wrap also tasted delicious! Our waitress was super friendly. We could move tables when we realized that we could see the lake from the back of the restaurant. Also offered us a free refill on our strawberry limonade that was super tasty!

We drove from Bayfield to Burger Barn and found the 16-mile ride to Ashton for a family of seven. The prices are less than the restaurants in Bayfield and the whole food was delicious from the burgers, BLT, salads, to the chicken slaughter. Recommend this restaurant for families.

There is not many choices for food in small towns in northern Wisconsin. The Burger Barn was a great choice! Their loaded cheese curds with fries, onion rings, pulled pork bbq sauce was amazing. Burgers were solid as well. I’ll likely never get back here but I am glad I stopped tonight.
