See this on maps near our hotel, had great reviews. And I agree with them. Food was great and very valuable for what we have. I'm very busy and I didn't even have to go home. Definitely comes back to lunch in Asheville. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Hungry Bear Cafe:

read moreNestled in Asheville, this locally owned diner promises a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, appealing to those who appreciate classic Southern comfort food. Though some patrons have noted a decline in food quality, particularly with issues such as underseasoned dishes and unappealing ingredients, regulars often rave about the outstanding breakfast offerings, especially the biscuits and gravy. The diner thrives on a true community spirit, attracting a loyal customer base despite occasional staffing challenges. While it may not cater to those looking for trendy dining experiences, it remains a beloved spot for hearty meals and a warm, welcoming environment.
