Lunch. What a find this restaurant is. We were staying at a hotel practically next door and came across it as we were walking our dogs. It's located right on the seafront promenade Felpham. One look at the specials board, we could tell this was going to be good. As we'd had eaten earlier, we tried a couple of their sandwiches. Prawn Crayfish cocktail. Gourmet fish finger. Both were packed with filling and absolutely delicious. It was so good we had to return the next day to try something else. This time we chose one of the specials. Which was the local lobster brioche roll. With lemon pepper mayo, tomato watercress. Served with seasoned fries and slaw. At £18.95 it's not cheap, but it's so worth it. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and looking at other dishes coming out of the kitchen, we had serious food envy. Staff are very cheerful and a bonus for us, it's very dog friendly. We shall have to return to try some of the delicious looking food from the Specials board.
Disappointing we have been here many times but this time was a shambles. Poor service, poor food quality and just rude staff. Wouldn’t visit again would walk to Hotham park instead as the staff are actually polite to their customer there!
A great place to eat and the selection of food is fantastic. From lovely fish and seafood to a roast. Everything is cooked well. Although you have to order at the counter, you don’t have to wait long for the food to be delivered to your table. It does get crowded and sometimes you have to queue but it’s well worth it. Every dish is reasonably priced.
Called in for lunch with a friend , all was good apart from one particular waitress who was rude and had no social skills.
