Texas Steak House - Arona

Arrived for our booking at 7.30, a waitress arrived and listed all the items they didn’t have including T Bones .. we ordered wine water and food and waited.. and waited..the wine eventually came but an hour and a quarter later no starters had been served. We asked for bread.. it didn’t arrive.. 20 minutes later our ‘minestrone soup’ did.. it was vegetable water with a few chopped veg thrown in !! We sent it back waited .. and waited.. eventually one of us got his steak, cold including the chips, he’d ordered canarian potatoes. My seafood pasta arrived and was immediately taken back as it was the wrong dish.. At this point we called the manager over and told him we weren’t prepared to wait any longer but we’d be happy to pay for the wine.. he apologised and gave us the wine f.o.c.. Shocking experience, and the first time we’ve ever walked out of a restaurant.

Brilliant location great steak great service , must stop if your visiting lots cristianos , staff very welcoming

Went for our anniversary, huge fan of Mexican food. We were pushing the boat out' so no expense spared .... Starters were nice (simple but nice) that's were it ended... Food very bland, chicken so stringy I could not chew it. (And wasn't sure whether i was eating a beef or chicken taco, even the tacos were soggy) husbands fajitas , we'll the chicken could have come off a chicken sandwich at McD (in fact it would have been tastier) when I cook Mexican food, the flavours are amazing NOT AT THIS RESTAURANT! I hope they read this and take the critique on board.

Went to this restaurant with my wife and children. Food was good but honestly could not rave about it. Staff were friendly enough but again have been to other restuarants in Tenerife where the staff made you feel that they really cared and wanted to make your evening an enjoyable one Prices were reasonable enough but what was annoying was that fact that they let a clown walk around whilst their guests were eating their meal, This solom act ould blow up balloons and make them into different shapes and different things. If you liked his show a tip was expected; we made sure that we avoided eye contact with this gent as all we really wanted to do was eat and enjoy our own company. This spoiled the evening as we felt at some stage he would come to our table too. Another man came through the restaurant and offered a single rose at a price to whoever felt sorry for him; again this was unecessary especially when there were more families eating than romantic couples in the throws of proposing for marriage! Good for Valentines day though. There are many other restaurants in the area of the Texas Steak House so you do have a good choice of where else to eat. Its worth tking you time and to check out the menus and how full the restaurant is which is often a good guide as to whether the food is good.

We was a family who visited the restaurant more times in our holiday. Every time we got god service and good quality food in big portions.
