The beef ribs were thick, tender, and juicy, and they only needed a touch of their signature sweet BBQ sauce to elevate the flavor. The fries weren't particularly spicy but were served hot and fresh, with a nice seasoning that added a kick. The sweet tea was fantastic as well. Although my meal totaled $33 (including a basic tip, military discount, and taxes), which I found to be on the pricier side, I will definitely... View all feedback.

It was alright. I had a pit beef sandwich but it had a lot of fatty bits, and fell apart easily. Fries were good but my brothers were a completely darker color. Maybe would have been better with vinegar. Overall pretty alright. View all feedback.
Delicious barbecue beef short rib, with collar and macaroni salad. Sweet mint tea. The sink in the dining area has foot pedals, good to know. The menu has expanded in the last few years, but the classics are still as good as ever.
Went here on a Sunday evening close to closing time, which is probably why it looks quiet in the photos. I had a wonderful three meat platter with collard greens cole slaw. Succulent sauces too; just a little dab compliments the meat. And I ordered some grilled wings that had a great bark on em! I’m definitely coming back soon.
Update: I decided to give it another try. The beef ribs were really flavorful and tender. My sides were delicious as well (onion rings and salad). It was a bit expensive, but the meal was definitely enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a better experience. _______________________________________________ Original review: After hearing positive reviews about Rocklands, I purposed to check them out. I have to give them another chance because I am a little disappointed. I opted to dine in but needed my meal in a to-go setup. I was obliged but did not receive my order until I walked to the counter. The staff were apologetic but did not offer to replace the meal (they were supposed to bring it where I was seated). The place is clean, with steady customer traffic. The aroma fills the air before even getting close to the parking lot. My food was cold and I felt a bit underwhelmed by the portions. The brisket had a nice bite and flavor but was teetering on the dry side. I found myself needing to use sauce to eat. And the sauce was pretty tasty. My sides were cold so I really could not enjoy. In all, I will try again at a later date and update. I cannot really say for now. They were very apologetic upon my exiting, but my view remains unchanged.

Unique bbq joint on the outskirts of Arlington. The food here isn’t bad, but it’s not the great bbq either. For the area, it’s one of the better ones. The bbq was on the dry side and the sauce was kind of acidic. The coleslaw wasn’t as creamy and was basically course chopped cabbage. The pulled pork egg rolls are pretty good though.
