It was my wife and I?s first time going here and let me just say this is one of the best spots in the area for tacos. Not only was the food incredible, the salsas amazing, and the drinks one of a kind, but the service was also fantastic! The dude running the register(I?m awful with remembering names) was so kind and chatted it up with me for a bit. He let me sample the drinks before I bought them which was awesome. O... For a taco place inside of a gas station I just expected better. This restaurant is Latino owned and Latino run so it's definitely authentic. It's just not...
Decent food. Very friendly. Chicken was kind of dry but the portions are generous. Definitely get your money worth.
Love the breakfast tacos here. The picante is the best around and the secret to putting their tacos above the rest.
The cashier was incredibly rude, more focused on eating her own fruit salad than taking my order. After finally taking my order and handling cash from other customers, she proceeded to assist with food prep without washing her hands. She picked up spilled meat from the floor and placed it back into the tubs used for making tacos. When confronted about this health concern, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Additionally, the fajita tacos I ordered came with raw onions and cilantro, leaving me unimpressed overall.
The breakfast tacos and agua fresca at this restaurant are amazing, but do not try the tamales. They were the worst I have ever had, and I'm thankful I only purchased one.
