Contribute FeedbackLa Barca, located on the water in Helensburgh, offers a cozy yet bright atmosphere. While some found the tapas overpriced and lacking in size, others enjoyed the wide range of options and delicious flavors. Customer service has been described as excellent, with attentive staff and quick service. Despite some mixed reviews on pricing and portion size, many customers have praised the food quality and the welcoming ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, La Barca seems to offer a pleasant dining experience for those looking to enjoy Spanish cuisine by the sea.
La barca was recommended to me and we found it in the main road that looks at the water. the restaurant is bright and spacious, but at night it is dim and cozy. I came with my friend, mama and mother in the law for a cozy dinner after a nice day. we have ordered enough to sink a small ship and ate it. my usual tapas-hunts are cafe andaluz and la tasca (especially those in silverburn. I feel that is remarkable – la barca is the first non-chain tapas bar I tried and I loved it.
I went to try the daytime Tapas special at this restaurant. We selected 6 dishes to share. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The Tapas were delicious. I decided to try Haggis for the first time since I was visiting Scotland. The Haggis Bon Bons were particularly tasty. The mushroom and cheese croquettes were also excellent. We enjoyed all the Tapas we chose.
The meal was fantastic with a great selection of dishes and satisfying portion sizes. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this restaurant.
We stopped by for lunch in the sunshine and felt like we were dining in Spain. We took advantage of the lunchtime tapas deal and each had three plates. The food was excellent with a great selection, and we would recommend the Calamari, Albóndigas, Haggis Bon Bon, and Pollo Chirizo. The Patatas Bravas and Tortilla were also delicious. The service was excellent, friendly, and professional. We particularly enjoyed the Rioja. We highly recommend this tapas restaurant for an authentic taste of Spain.
Very nice enjoyable visit with good food and a wide selection of drinks. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we had pre-booked so our table was waiting .
