What EXCLAMATION ! doesn't like about Pioneer Family Restaurant:
Everything was just bleh. It was like I stepped back in time to the 1950's and sat down inside a soup kitchen for the homeless. Literally everything tasted like it came straight from a can, from the meat and sides to the dessert and even the glass of water. Yes I said the water tasted like it came out of a can. After the first bowl of cherry cake the second bowl I randomly look more accurate and found pieces of tin foil in it. there is no idea how much I had eaten with the first dish and they did not seem so worried. I hope I'm not getting sick. will never go there again. we had to ask for tea refills and were only carved according to 1 piece.
There are many choices in salatbuffet as well as the entire buffet, all for $9.99 the disappointing part that some of these was no longer hot, but then, that is a problem with all hot buffets. the food was delicious, even if not hot.
Another great place I visit every other Sunday! such a great choice. plus a great salatable with obst! the prime rib is so tender!
Eating is south and delicious. a great salatable with a lot of variety. the best nativity is what I am for, even if I return to this part of the city of raleigh. but the waitress I had this time was either not very experienced or simply not very hospitable. So I can't give stars for the service this day.
Go and experience it. Huge buffet and excellent salad bar. Eat here once and you will go back. They also have a menu to order from, but who needs it?
