We dined here for lunch on a fairly busy Monday. Servers are all very pleasant and helpful. My other half had an entrecôte and I went for the poisson du jour which was sea bass. Both were delicious and I can honestly say the best...meal we’ve had in France. I had café gourmand for dessert....magnifique! Two main courses with soft drinks and one dessert came in at €69. than we are used to paying but was well worth it View all feedback.
What Zara Talwar doesn't like about Le Bacchus:
as in the title, 2h30 for a beer an entrance and a dish. My wife had crabs in all the mussels of her dish and for me a sauce-free and rather cold---but the fries are good! after asking for a little beer offered for waiting and since we had finished ours, and well we always wait for the answer....amp to avoid unless really have time and not be looking at the quality of service. I was very happy that the establishment finds its historical name, the paris pyla. Unfortunately there is a cruel lack of taste and professionalism for the neighborhood: tv broadcasting games at all corners, too random decor, bench service, ... no wonder there are 3-4 times more customers in the front bar. You have to re-took, adapt to the neighborhood and honor the historic name of the shop.
Little choice for lunch. impossible to choose the cooking of his burger (good to the rest). very long waiting to order, be served and even to pay: we almost left without paying after waiting too long for the check and then the card machine!Some servers are unpleasant: we were asked if everything had gone well but no one listened to the answer. The decor is neat with a mixture of cement tiles and parquet flooring, the servers all look like a latino and beard look of 3 days, but the refinement stops there ...
To avoid, the waiters that stick in front of the restaurant pretending to work with fresh products. We ordered mussels that were not good and probably not fresh. burgers (16€) do not choose meat cooking because the server teaches us that they are already prepared and therefore heated. we're not talking about unpleasant service...
The bacchus has returned to be paris pyla since the month of May very nice, cozy with music, you have to stop there
The bacchus found his old name after a change of owner. Very limited card without originality. Unpleasant, unprofessional service.
