After doing some wine tasting in Arbois, we stumbled upon this great little family owned restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery. The food was delicious. The menu is quite simple and there is a buffet for salads, but the good was tremendous. View all feedback.
What Kelly Fox doesn't like about Bistrot des Claquets:
This little joint was one of the most happening spots in town. It is quite local and only serves one plat du jour, which was pretty mediocre. The service was good and the chocolate mousse was deeeeelicous. The wine however (we tried the local white and red) was honestly the WORST we have ever had, and given that we are in the middle of the Jura wine district in France was a real disappointment. Super bistro held by a very efficient team that keeps a smile despite the enormous affluence (Nose in the Green). Breakfast menu E/P/D to 18€ ladies. An unstable price / pleasure ratio: entrance buffet with mixed salads and various cutlery, unique dish (this Saturday smoked / smooth, the best I've ever eaten), unique dessert (this day, apple oven on lost bread). Not many wines in the glass, but we enjoyed a white of Villet and a red of Gahier. But if we are quite numerous, then take the beautiful bottles for friends. Great!

A restaurant as you can see little. Quality and conviviality at the top. Price all sweet!
A bistro as we would still like to meet in our escapades. Held by Candy, where kitchen and room no longer have a secret for her to take you on a gustative journey with many surprises without forgetting her certain knowledge of the wines of Arbois. Under the charm you will be!
