Simple excellent food, served with a limited but good wine selection. Beautiful desserts offered to follow we had the flambé pineapple and the crepes. The overall experience was fabulous!!
We had the parrillada with differerwnt cuts of meat and a wine. The food was excellent. They offer also an entree with bread, chimichurri sauce and vinaigrette. The bread was light and flavory.
Nice place, excellent location close to the beach, rustic atmosphere with a view at where the magic happens: the grill. Service was prompt and attentive. Prices are not cheap, not expensive. The picanha we ordered was just perfect, served sizzling on a hot plate with its accompaniments. Generous portions but not overdone. A place we would go back to in a heartbeat.
We love el argentino . Because it is one of the places in Canoa Quebrada, where you can have a proper BBQ. Located at the south end of Broadway, the restaurant is often very busy and therefore, we sometimes book a table, which is usually not necessary in Canoa. So, if you like meat, you will not be disappointed.
I just returned from a fantastic meal here with my family. We all had the rodizio (mixed grill) which was enormous and very tasty, price at R$90 person including dessert. The staff spoke only Portuguese; I had a Portuguese phrase book and some enthusiasm. Our waitress was attentive, showing great patience and good humour. We got to taste several meats I had seen on menus elsewhere but had previously hesitated to try as I had no idea what they were. Conveniently located at the beach end of Broadway. Strongly recommended for dinner if you are hungry in Canoa Quebrada
