Delicious pizza and stuffed artichokes. Some of my favorite foods in St. Bernard Parish. The spice mix that goes on the cheese on the pizza is delicious and really adds to the taste. The crust is truly unique, neither crispy nor soggy, and moderately thin, not something you would get in a chain-run pizza place. And the filled artichokes are wonderful! View all feedback.
The best pizza. My favorite pizza at Ben's is the meatball pizza, but all I've eaten is wonderful.

It's hard to say. I grew up eating Ben's pizza, so I can't definitely say it's good food or not, but subjective, I think it's delicious. It is a very idiosyncratic place that strangers (or at least people who are not used to it) might seem strange. They use a dough that does not rise much and is a bit hard. The cheese is delicious when hot, but somehow fearful when cold. The spices they put on it, but is delicious and makes the pizza what it is. I recommend Paprika and Sausage for the first time Ben's feeder quite standard in the entire US pizza world. In any case, this is another issue of the St. Bernard restaurant. Other things that are good here are the sandwiches good, and the filled artichokes are beyond words.
Great Muffalettas, great hot tamales and really good pizza pies. This is the best kept secret in New Orleans. Ben's has been around since the 60's.
Fantastic as always. Best local po boys and muffaletta around. They also have amazing roast beef po boy. Always great hot local food.
