This lively and energetic restaurant offers ample docking space and a wide variety of drinks at reasonable prices. It's a fantastic place to spend an afternoon, and the sign above the restroom entrance perfectly captures the vibe. View all feedback.
What Lisa S doesn't like about Blarney Island:
Blarney's Island is an experience that should be had, but wouldn't be a regular spot for me. It costs $15 to use their boat to even get to the island, and then it's very much just your basic bar once you get there. There's usually live music, which is good because there's not much else to do there. Drinks are pricey and the food options are pretty limited, too. Cool place! Rock live music during the day.. that's what I love
Fantastic time, great food, and good music. Would definitely return!
Fun place but I was treated rudely by a staffer... Bought a drink at their outdoor bar by the entrance then went around the corner, ordered food and returned to join my party at a table just across from the bar where I ordered the drink as we waited for our food order. I had to go get something from our boat and when I returned three minutes later an employee stationed at the entrance stopped me and told me I couldn't enter until I finished my drink. She was accusing me of bringing in a drink from our boat which wasn't at all what happened. I told her the drink was purchased at the bar not ten feet from where she was sitting from the same bartender that was standing there. They had nothing posted about outside drinks and while I can understand their policy the interaction was very rude and unnecessary.

The best part is that you're on an island, but it doesn't really feel like it since there isn't any sand or trees.
The general Manager Brian is the absolute worst kind of human on earth. After we asked permission for 3 kids under 10 to fish off the pier, he called the police after verbally and vulgarity screamed at us. Terrified our children and then made a huge scene. Then after the police arrived and reprimanded him for his attitude and verbiage towards children he apologized. You're a horrible person Brian Breeme or however your name is spelled. Worst manager in the history of managers. Who calls cops on 3 kids under 10 for fishing after they had permission from the restaurant manager. This low class guy.
