The walleye dinner is really good!!! but the service was very slow waited quite a bit for our check, there was only 1 waitress poor lady was running outside and inside... but this time was on the slower side

Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. Yeah, this is the best corner bar where Jackie and her staff greets you with a smile and a beer. The place is always clean. The burgers are as good as yours off the grill in Aug but you can walk in and get them any day of the year. And there's no way you can make that delish Guinness cheese sauce they smother those fries in, yum!

I liked the atmosphere, the Ruben Rolls and the French Onion Soup were all good. The beef and beer cheese was not the best but the service was good and I'll definitely try them again for the fish and chips.

Small casual but intimate setting Great service. Fab walleye with Guinness on tap. Will go again!

This place may have shut down. We went on a Monday and there was a sign in the window saying the place was closed Mondays. So before trying again on Tuesday, we tried calling. The phone rang twice and went to VM, but VM was full. I kept trying for the next three days, and got the same VM. The considerate thing to do would be to change their VM to say they were now closed. We traveled 45 minutes to get there the first time. If they are still open, I highly suggest they clear out their VM or answer their phones. Whichever, we will never (try) going there again.
