It has been since the previous visit and a few things have changed, but the food is still good. Prices are appropriate for the large amount of food. The service was also great, by all employees. We drove two hours on several occasions to feed here. This pickled onion, OmG! View all feedback.

Good. Loved the catfish. Ribeye had a lot of fat. Cornbread was ok. A bit dry. Coleslaw and pickled onions were pretty good. Waitress wasn?t very attentive but she was pleasant. View all feedback.
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I've been going here since I was a little girl! The food is consistently good! The service is quick and friendly and the cost isn't going to break the bank! This location (Gadsden) is actually on water. A pond is outsideof the restaurant. You can wall out on the deck and see the catfish in the water. Ducks will frequently be in the parking lotwhen you arrive. The catfish is AMAZING! The whole catfish dinner comes with three pieces of fish, hush puppies and fries or abaked potato. They don't have many sides, but the hush puppies are great! When you sit down they bring you a small skillet ofcorn bread, Cole slaw and pickled onions! This pairs well with the appetizer of collard greens! You can get a large or smallgreens! Lastly, the sweet tea is always SWEET! True sweet tea drinkers know what I mean! I'll definitely be back!
It's been awhile since the previous visit and a few things have changed, however, the food is still good. The prices are reasonable for the large amount of food served. The service was great also, from all of the staff. We have driven 2 hours onseveral occasions just to dine here. Those pickled onion, OmG!
Came all the way from Georgia to visit since I've heard good things and I wasn't dissapointed!! Had a party of 10 and was seated right away no issue for my moms birthday everything came out very good and the waitress handled us with ease. We will be back
Delicious food, but very expensive!! Awesome waiter, and didn't have to wait to be seated. BUT, I'm only giving 4 stars, not due to the food or service, but due to their system failing, and having to wait to pay. First off, they need a better way to havepeople stand in line to pay. As I walked up, I asked where the line was, and got in line. But, several people just walked up andpaid right in front of me, and the cashiers noticed, but said nothing. The only reason I'm bringing this up, is by the time Ireached the counter to pay, the systems had crashed! They told me I couldn't pay with a card, they didn't know how long it wouldbe. I would have to wait. The line got extremely long at this point. After waiting a good while, thankfully, a family member wasthere, paid my ticket in cash, and I was out the door. All that to say ....HAVE A BACK UP SYSTEM TO PAY!! Again, the food wasdelicious, the waiter was awesome! We didn't have to wait to be seated. BUT, have cash to pay....just in case, because thecashier said it's happened before!
I know times are tough but the size of the catfish filets have gotten way smaller than a couple of years ago. Not to mention what kind of fish place doesnt have malt vinegar for the filets? This place use to be a 5 star but seriously the amount of foodyou use to get was worth the 5 stars but now I am reluctantly giving 3 stars. The ranch dressing I had for fry dipping tastedlike straight up mayo in a cup and the honey mustard my husband had for his chicken fingers was just nasty. The imitation crabwas not what you use to get by any means. In order to keep people coming back you have to maintain food quality and I just didntfeel that what we had yesterday was your best quality. Even the jalapeño cornbread was smaller and had less jalapeño in it.After an 1-1/2 drive in from Georgia just to eat here I am sadly very disappointed and probably wont be back.
