The Szechuan tofu dish was incredibly flavorful and had a nice crispiness to it! My friend's brittle was cooked to perfection, and the portions were quite generous. Neither of us are lightweights; we frequently order and enjoy intensely spicy Thai and Indian dishes. However, when we tried to order spicy here, the woman at the counter cautioned us that it would be extremely hot. We opted for medium spice instead, but... View all feedback.

While I understand that power outages are unfortunate, I feel I should have been given more than six hours' notice before my guests arrived to arrange an alternative food plan. When I eventually spoke with the owner, he was very apologetic, but I expected more than just an apology. I asked him what he believed would be a reasonable solution, and when I suggested that they offer my order, he refused and ended the conv... View all feedback.
I love ricewood. I always get the pork belly bowl. I’m mainly writing this review to applaud all the staff. The York location can get busy but i never wait more than 10 min. They are always quick and so very friendly. At both locations they always have a great energy! Check them out!!Food: 5/5
Tried some ribs with some house made kimchi. The ribs were overly sticky/sweet because of the sauce on top, though I did a no sauce order. That sauce wasn't very unpleasant to eat, so I had to scrape the sauce. With that being said, the meat was very tender not entirely fall off the bone but very well cooked. And the black pepper seasoning was really delicious.Their kimchi was delicious too.I'd recommend the BBQ place, and suggest putting the sauce on the side.
Some of the best bbq in Ann Arbor area with an Asian-fusion twist in the form of its rice bowl creations. Don’t worry that isn’t your thing, because they also offer meats by the pound. It’s all very good. The ribs were perfectly cooked (bite tender but not falling off the bone) and the pork belly was fabulous. It can be very hard to find parking and seats at this location of you go during lunch time but it’s worth the effort.
I placed a catering order for brisket. I was told the morning of my event less than 6 hours of my guests arriving that my order would not be fulfilled due to a power outage that they were aware for 4 days prior. I was told they were hoping to have power restored. I thought it extremely inconsiderate that I had no notification of this until the day of the event. I also wondered how they planned to get 9#’s of brisket ready in less than 6 hours even if the power was restored. The owner did not seem concerned about how this was handled an actually said I am rude.
Visiting from Winnipeg and this is a must try place. I need to go back earlier to taste the brisket but everything I had was so epic!!!Food: 5/5
