We stopped by this restaurant for lunch based on the recommendation of our taxi driver. It is a decently sized establishment located on the main road, but it was quite crowded during our visit. After a lengthy wait, a waiter finally came to take our order and informed us that it would take at least half an hour for our food to be ready. We ordered Thalis and other dishes, but after waiting for about half an hour, we inquired about our food only to be told that some items were not available, which had not been mentioned earlier. When we questioned why this had not been communicated earlier, we were told that due to the busy rush, those items would not be served to us. This led to a disagreement with the manager at the counter who asked us not to raise our voices, but eventually, after an additional 20-minute wait, we did receive those items. The overall quality of the food was average, with the fried fish being the highlight.
This restaurant may not have a fancy name, but the food is delicious and simple. Their thalis are great value for money, and whether it's pomfret or mackerel, their fried fish is fantastic. We enjoyed our lunch here for three days in a row and loved it each time. The restaurant is clean and hygienic, and the staff is prompt and always smiling. We would definitely return again.
We have dined at Mango Tree, Jaws, Moonshine, and others, but this restaurant's food was off the charts. Absolutely amazing. The prawn Rava Fry and Fish Curry with rice were exceptional. Though it may be a simple location, if you are looking for truly authentic Goan cuisine, this is the place to be. Overall, a fabulous dining experience!
The fish thali 120, was a tasty sumptuous meal. We also had the fish rava and masala fry, both were fresh and well done.
Well we ate at Mango Tree, Jaws, Moonshine etc etc but this restaurant food was over the hook. Just amazing. The prawn Rava Fry and Fish Curry with rice was just mind blowing. Very simple place but trust me, you want rea authentic Goan food then you better come here....Overall Fabulous Food !!!
