for a ride, from Kirkcaldy.. we decided to dive back. our last visit was great and today was nothing else. beautiful hand-baked were and our steak blocks were beautiful in the did, we still eat them. Truly, they are a bit more expensive, but a rare tasty, in these times. I hope they're still here when we visit the next one. View all feedback.
What Ewan C doesn't like about William Saddlers Sons:
Come on guys, with mclaren cutting their opening times, thus should be a god send for you, instead your food is inedible. Pie was, well ok, the donuts raw in the middle. 2 thrown out to the gulls, still have a greasy film in my mouth from the first. View all feedback.

For a forfar bridie, we have the puff bakery to eat a big piece of bark meat. nice cozy eating in teestube, service was good and the bridies delivered immediately with tee and coffee. many good Scottish cafe options here. the cakes looked good.
The large bowl of the sweet soup was excellent, thick enough to hold almost her spoon. a pathetic celestial jam and the skorone beautifully warmed. only the ground, not for the scoring 5 was the rather weak and milky coffee. the personal was very pleasant and attentive. recommend a visit and do something with the jam
Big caffe with cheerful staff and super eating - especially the bridies!
This cafe/bakery really gives me 1920's vibes, and I love that. Its a unique atmosphere. Lovely meals and many home bakes. One thing put me off going back was when I was in the mood for soup and there was none left so asked for a scone instead and they had none of those either which was a bit surprising since they are a bakery! Can't fault the waitress, friendly and polite.
