We attended my mums 60th birthday party last night here at The Cliffburn hotel. We were in the downstairs function room and it was fantastic. Lovely big round tables with covered chairs. We were able to decorate it with balloons and banners which was a lovely touch. Friendly staff and great buffet supplied by the hotel chef. I would definitely recommend it for parties etc... What christinew685 doesn't like about Cliffburn:
not a place I had been to before and was not sure of what was available. Service was a bit slow and the food was average but you would need to want that type of food to enjoy it best. Perhaps it is a place that you might want to go but was not my best type of food. View all feedback.
I had my 60th there on Saturday and the staff was really good. Food was lovely thank you Colin. Bar staff were kept busy and really coped well. Place was lovely and clean. Thank you so much. Sonia x

Simply the best , there is no place in the town can beat it !!!
By far the worst place to eat in Arbroath, they don't have what is on the menu and then the substitute is pathetic. avoid at all cost. better with a takeaway
