Family owned waffle house. I ordered the cinnamon roll waffle breakfast. It was delicious! The breakfast included hash browns, eggs, and bacon. Come if you're hungry, the servings are huge! View all feedback.
What Lisa Chambers doesn't like about Waffle Rush:
It was a small space. One large group, 6 men, behind where we sat. Then more and more people came in and the place was full. It was Loud and the service was slow. I had to wait for 20 minutes or more just to get my coffee that I ordered. I had to ask for it again and was told that they were getting it ready. My husband got his raspberry waffle first. It wasn’t bad. I ordered chicken with biscuits and gravy and eggs w... View all feedback.
Chicken and waffles! In my opinion this is best place to eat in Anchorage. Tennessee hot or the Southern Comfort. If you can handle some heat with your chicken and waffles. No matter what you choose to order it will not disappoint. Photo is the southern comfort. Chipotle butter….oh my!
This is a great place in anchorage to have breakfast and probably lunch. We had the pecan honey chicken with waffles. So rich and the candied pecans were a great texture to the perfectly cooked crunchy yet moist chicken strips. These aren’t bought in the store these along with everything else’s seems to be made from scratch. You can really tell with the Biscut and gravy. You could even taste the flour in the gravy and the biscuit was buttery and flaky. We also got a dessert waffle The Boss which was chocolate strawberries and whip cream on a sweet waffle. You can definitely tell this is a business with the owners cooking and the love going into the good. Truly amazing and probably the best waffles I have ever had and chicken strips. Only thing I suggest changing is providing real silverware. The plastic silver ware breaks and just doesn’t allow the same experience cutting and eating the food for me. I took it home and added eggs and put it on plates which made it a lovely Sunday brunch. Thank you waffle rush for the love and caring you put into your food.
My mind was blown by this little hidden treasure right in my town. It's a cute little mom and pop store, where the waitress will give you a run down of what they have and you still can't decide because everything sounds amazing. My waffles were absolutely amazing and soft and fluffy. The butter was creamy and melted perfectly into the warm syrup. I know chicken, and this is some pretty good chicken. It's a standard tender but there's so much flavor, you'll regret not getting more. I ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture. I definitely will be going back
