Contribute FeedbackKriner's Diner recently faced backlash for defying pandemic guidelines, leading to a loss in customer support. Despite mixed reviews, some diners have enjoyed the cheeseburger and chicken-fried steak, while others noted a decline in quality over time. Table 6 offers a diverse menu with highlights such as halibut tacos and a blood orange martini. The clam chowder and halibut dishes received high praise for flavor and presentation. Patrons appreciate the friendly service and extensive drink options. While some dishes were a hit, others fell short, with issues like overcooked fish and mixed service experiences. Despite drawbacks, Table 6 remains a hidden gem worth exploring.
I recently dined at this restaurant and must say, they serve the most amazing chicken wings I have ever tasted! They were incredibly delicious. I also enjoyed their salmon dip, which was another highlight for me. My only complaint is that when I ordered the salmon dip as a starter and the chicken wings as my main course, they both arrived at the same time. While they are both fantastic on their own, the combination was not ideal. Nonetheless, the service was friendly and attentive. The staff made sure to refill our drinks promptly. However, they were not keen on splitting the bill for our table of 7, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite this, I highly recommend this place overall.
If I were a professional food critic (you know, the kind who gets paid? How does one land that job?!?), this is where I would choose to have lunch. This is the spot I would visit before heading to a fancier restaurant. It's the place where I would go for consistently tasty food before experiencing either a spectacular or disappointing meal at a high-end dining establishment. This place has the ambiance of a bistro, with large windows that create a bright and inviting atmosphere. It is always impeccably clean whenever I visit. They offer a wide variety of beers, a full bar, friendly service, and delicious bistro-style dishes. It's not fine dining, but it's also not typical bar food - it's a cut above that. While many places serve a BLT sandwich, only bistro-style establishments offer soft and scrumptious focaccia bread that delights your taste buds and ignites a burst of flavor. The fries were perfectly cooked and the dish was prepared exactly as I requested. I highly recommend this place.
I came down here on a whim a few days ago for lunch. Table 6 is located in one of the strip malls lined up along Denali St. between 36th Ave. and Benson Blvd. across from a vacant building that housed the old Johnson Tire Center behind Century Cinemas. I was really glad that I had placed my order online about 10 minutes before taking my lunch break at noon. Otherwise, I would've spent the entire lunch hour waiting for my order without placing one online. The wait I was told would be about 20 minutes from the time I called at 11:50. I figured this would minimize the wait time when I leave at noon and only wait for a few minutes before my order was ready. The restaurant was busy and packed for the lunch rush. The dining area itself looks very much like a sports bar with TV screens lined up around the walls which makes this an ideal place to catch NFL games on Sunday. The employees were friendly but obviously very busy with the amount of customers they were helping. I ordered their Famous Wings for lunch which came with a spicy BBQ glaze sprinkled with sesame seeds along with celery sticks and ranch on the side. What was supposed to be an order ready by 12:10 became a race against the clock as I sat at the bar and waited. 12:20.... 12:25.... The last thing I wanted was to eat my lunch and head back to the office immediately after finishing with no time to relax during my break. Finally, the wings arrived. I decided to order a Diet Coke to go with the wings. (Customer, beware. They will charge you $4.00 for a small 12 oz. cup of soda for a to-go order. Unbelievably, this was the only size they have for cups. Save your money and get your drinks at Walmart or a nearby gas station at a fraction of the price. It was 12:40 by the time I got back. The wings were delicious with just the right amount of spiciness. Despite how good the wings were, it hardly justifies the wait time especially when taking a lunch break for an hour that seemed to go by in minutes.
I used to LOVE coming here when it first opened. The Menu had a lot of great options and the beer list was plenty. Within the last year or two though, I don't know what happened. The menu has changed and so has the quality. I had the halibut fish and chips the last time I went, the fish was over-breaded and over cooked. The time before that I had the two handed Brie chicken sandwich and it was lacking on so many levels. Good thing their French fries are still amazing, sadly everything else is mediocre.
Love making this my spot to meet up with brokers or clients For Cocktails! My favorite here is made with Rye Whiskey and Orange Liquor served in a Martini Glass ... it 's called 'Fashionably Late ' try one! It 's not super sweet if you like Bourbon or Rye 's you 'll love this!
